Let's Talk About the Gym
I love going to the gym and getting a good workout in. Not only does it make me feel better physically but mentally as well. The gym has helped me get through some of the hardest times of my life. When I applied for my first gym membership at Every1Fitness, I will admit it was not for the right reasons. I started out of spite because someone made me feel like I wasn't good enough or I wasn't beautiful. When someone makes me feel like I can't do something; it makes me want to prove them wrong and show them I can. Over the course of the first year at Every1Fitness; that's exactly what I did. I was working out every day for at least 1 hour a day. I was drinking protein shakes after every workout to help repair my muscles after the intensity of the workouts I was doing. Even though it began out of spite; during this time I was spending at the gym I began to really love working out and I liked how my body was changing as well as my mindset. I was not only the thinnest I have ever been in my entire life ; I was the most confident I had ever been. I felt like I was strong and beautiful. Growing up my self-esteem was always super low. I never felt like I was pretty or good enough . I never had the self love I so desperately needed. The gym gave me that . Eventually, I had to slow down on my workouts because I was letting it get in the way of my college work . Also, by this time I began losing my fire. I had proved to myself and the person who put me down, what I could do. My workouts began to dwindle and to this day I struggle to find the motivation I need to keep up with it. I am happy with who I am and am in a relationship someone who loves me for who I am. My mind thinks who else do I need to look good for. Then I think about how I am also at the heaviest weight I have ever been in my entire life . I have been working on incorporating healthier foods in my diet and am doing workouts here and there. This time I am trying to workout without the protein shakes and keep it completely natural. I will admit it is a lot harder! I am always sore after I workout now. However, I want to get back into my workout routine and this time for myself. Also, if anyone is looking for a 24 hour gym at low cost Every1Fitness is a great choice. They have a lot of workout machines, a heavy weight room, a women's workout room, a cardio room where you can watch a movie while you workout, and lots of classes you can take. I have back pain and I took one of their yoga classes. After, I left the class I had absolutely no pain. It was amazing! Thank you for reading this post .
